Introduction
As Sales Manager at Curios you sell cybersecurity consultancy — assessments, penetration testing and compliance work across NIS2 and ISO 27001 — to Belgian and international organisations. You are our first commercial hire, so you build the function rather than inherit it. You own the commercial relationship; the senior specialist who delivers the work scopes it with you and stays the client’s technical contact. Selling more never changes who does the work.
What you’ll do
- Open and qualify new opportunities — outbound, network and inbound
- Grow the accounts we have: renewals and follow-on work
- Run the commercial conversation with security, IT and compliance decision-makers
- Bring in the consultant who will deliver the work to scope and price it; the proposal is yours
- Keep your pipeline and forecast honest
Roughly an even split between new clients and existing ones.
What we’re looking for
Must have
- At least 2 years in IT or security — enough to hold a first conversation about NIS2, ISO 27001, penetration testing or vCISO work
- Experience running your own outreach, pipeline and proposals, including commercial conversations at CISO and IT-director level
- The discipline to bring a consultant in the moment a conversation turns technical. You don’t need to answer the technical questions, only recognise them
- Professional working proficiency in Dutch and English — you’ll work with Belgian clients in both
- The role involves travel to clients and our Antwerp office; a category B licence is the usual way, and we’re open to alternatives
Nice to have
- French, or another additional language
- Familiarity with how Belgian security buyers procure
- Client-side experience of an ISO 27001 or NIS2 programme
What we offer
- A training and certification budget. We’re a team of 48+ certifications and we intend to keep it that way — you get the budget to build the security knowledge you need to sell it.
- A competitive salary with a 13th month, plus a net expense allowance on top.
- A company car and fuel card — you’ll be moving between client sites, home and our Antwerp office.
- Meal vouchers and eco-vouchers.
- Hospitalisation insurance.
- Phone and laptop.
- Hybrid working — home, client sites and the Antwerp office.
- A varied portfolio to sell — Belgian and international organisations, from board-level security strategy to hands-on technical work.
