About this notice

This notice explains how Curios processes the personal data you provide when you apply for a role with us. It sits alongside our general Privacy Policy, which covers visitors to our website and contact-form enquiries.

Who is responsible for your data

Why we process your data

We process your application data for one purpose: to assess your application for the role you applied for.

Legal basis

Our legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR — taking steps at your request, prior to entering into a contract, in relation to the role you applied for. We do not ask for your consent to hold your data for other roles, because we do not do so (see “How long we keep your data”).

What we collect

We process the information you choose to send us — typically your CV and any covering note. A CV can contain sensitive or special-category details (for example nationality, date of birth, or information you volunteer). Please send only what is relevant to your application.

Who sees it

Your application is seen only by the people at Curios involved in the selection procedure for the role. We do not sell your application data or share it with third parties for their own purposes.

How long we keep your data

We keep your application for as long as the selection procedure for the role you applied for is running. If we don’t work together this time, we delete your data once that procedure closes. We don’t keep CVs on file for future roles — if another role interests you later, just apply again.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@curios-it.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).

Adjustments

If you need an adjustment to take part in the application or interview process, tell us in your first email and we’ll arrange it.
